Very excited to share with you that I'm back with Random House and have two new books coming your way:
1. a novel about the political and cultural awakening of students (and their headmistress) at a residential school for the Deaf
2. A nonfiction work of memoir/critical theory about Deaf culture, motherhood, and the formation of a linguistic and cultural identity, written as a series of letters to my son.
